Paracord Survival Bracelet
I will start off saying that I am NOT a survivalist nor do I want to become one. What I do want is to be prepared and have cool gadgets that will help me if something does happen along the way.
I like to hike at national parks and nearby trails with my puppy. Nothing has every happened to me wear I needed something like this but, if you are a serious hiker this bracelet would be a great product to have on you.
This bracelet is a little large for me to wear around my wrist but, I would keep in in my backpack or what ever bag I'd be carrying. A man could wear this on his wrist no problem.
The next cool thing about the bracelet is that is has a serrated wood saw. Now I have not tested this but, it is supposed to rip through wood with ease. To test out the saw I grabbed a stick from outside and tried to saw away. It was not easy but, it did saw. I have week arms so maybe someone strong can saw with ease.
At the other end of the bracelet is a long rod that has the cord going through it. That is the fire starter rod. The directions say to firmly rub the buckle against the rod. So, I rubbed the smooth part of the saw against the fire starter. At first I thought, I am not going to get a spark this is not hard enough and then...I did it!

The bracelet is made of 16 feet of parachute cord. You could use the cord as a tourniquet if you happen to get cut, make a sling, hold a shelter together, or help climb up or down steep slopes. The manufacturer even claims you can use individual stands as a fishing line.
