I was so excited when this came in the mail yesterday! Even my puppy, Tini, could not contain her excitement with her nose all over this box. You are probably wondering why a pooper scooper would make me happy. Well, I will tell you. My back yard is full of Tini's poop. During all the snow storms I didn't go outside and clean up after her and I do not like the cold so that doesn't help either. One day all that snow melted and I looked out the window and saw the mess.
Since we adopted Tini back in August, she was a puppy, I'd go outside with the little poop bags and pick all the waste up with multiple bags. The longer I waited to clean the more of a pain in the butt cleaning this back yard became. Also, I have a bad back and it does not like the constant bending over.
In my search to find just the right scooper I came across a new product on amazon called the Bag Scooper. The scooper stands 27 inches which makes it easier to carry around the yard. The handle is centered over the scooper so that you have even weight distribution as you fill the scooper. The handle grip is angled at 90 degrees which is where your hand naturally falls when standing. The scooper is light weight at only 1.25lbs but very strong. 
The scooper comes with these long handled plastic bags that are larger than a single use day waste bag but, smaller than a standard plastic grocery bag. Although the scooper comes with a custom bag, using the bag is not required. Any standard grocery handled bag or small trash liner will work but it will not be as good a fit.
The bags are easy to put on and pull off with out getting your hands dirty. The O-cinch ring on the scooper offers a snug bag fit and a simple bag release. Just poke the bag through the ring and pull until the bag is snug.
I did go out and clean the yard as soon as this package arrived and it got the yard done quicker and easier! I still will not enjoy scooping poop but, at least I have the best tool to get the job done.
