Beautonics Derma Roller Review

Beautonics Derma Roller

Since I wasn't sure what a derma roller does or what it is used for I looked it up and here is the answer I found on dermaheal.com.

The derma or skin roller is an instrument consisting of a heavy duty plastic roller head covered in high quality titanium needles. The needles are designed to penetrate the stratum corneum, conium the hard outer surface of the epidermal layer of the skin, body or scalp. Hundreds of tiny channels are created through the stratum corneum, which facilitate the passage and absorption of your skin care product, or minoxidil for hair restoration into the dermis, to maximize its absorption. It gently exfoliates excess skin cells which contribute to hair follicle malnutrition, scaring or premature aging, and ultimately hair follicle failure, wrinkles, stretch marks, cellulite and scars. The roller stimulates blood flow to the surface, gives a skin massage, cleans out the pores and stimulates collagen re-growth.

The Beautonics Derma Roller uses 1.0 advanced high grade titanium micro needles.  It is a 192 count for precision and accuracy.  Beautonics claims that the 1.0 is safer than 1.5 and .5.

I am really afraid to use this on my face.  I would ask your dermatologist before doing this at home or consult someone in the know before jumping right in.  I tested the roller out across my stomach and it left my skin red for hours.
